We worked with The Century Foundation to analyze the impact of Enhanced Advanced Premium Tax Credits (eAPTCs) on affordability and enrollment in ACA Marketplace plans. Using enrollment, premium, and demographic data, we built visuals to support their congressional testimony and highlight county-level differences. Our analysis shows that eAPTCs significantly reduced costs, with the greatest coverage gains in rural areas and counties with high uninsured rates. If the credits expire at the end of 2025, premiums will rise and enrollment will decline across most counties.
